Brad and Elliot Mason: Brothers

In time for the long awaited release of Brad and Elliot Mason’s debut album “Two Sides, One Story” (Archival Records, 2010), their website received a gentle visual refresh to bring it inline with the design of the album. As things go, once the sleeves are rolled up and a certain amount of code edits are being tackled, other optimisations are suddenly on the radar. The tour calendar is now being maintained through GigPress, a fantastic WordPress plugin for artists and agencies.

We built the very first website for the Tommy Smith Youth Jazz Orchestra when the domain was a fresh registration in autumn 2006. To enable Tommy and his team to maintain the site themselves and have more control over updates such a the tour calendar and news flashes, we re-designed and built the site from scratch in 2011, to coincide with the Orchestra’s new album release “Emergence” for which we provided the album packaging.

The long awaited release of ‘VIA‘, Storms/Nocturnes‘ third album and the first since 2003, with Joe Locke (vibes), Tim Garland (reeds) and Geoffrey Keezer (piano) was released in April 2011 and promoted heavily by each of the three artists. Joe Locke’s newsletter for that month therefore was all about ‘VIA’, loyal to its visual blue and weathered appearance, incl. supporting material and retail links.

SNJO featuring Kurt Elling

In March 2011 Kurt Elling joined the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra, directed by Tommy Smith, for two sensational concert at Glasgow and London. This is another email campaign we put together to promote this special event – and I was able to pop over to Glasgow for the concert on the back of it.
